PEATY'S X HUNT
One of the reasons Hunt Bike Wheels exists is the team here love to ride bikes. It's plain and simple. For many MTBer's, we think it is safe to say that Steve Peat is the reason why we ride bikes.

From his early crusade on the world cup scene to legendary parts in the early Sprung series and even the latest Gamble film, he defines what MTBing is for many of us. Despite retiring he hasn't taken his foot off the gas when it comes to pushing the limits.

After using Peaty's in many of our wheels being set up tubeless, Tom and Brynn behind the class-leading sealant, cleaners and now their all new chain lube dropped us a line with a casual mention to go for a ride with the King of the North himself - Steve Peat!

Skip a month ahead and the MTBer's from Hunt were riding the legendary Wharnecliff Woods with Tom, Bryn and Peaty. After a few runs down the Steel City Downhill trail then skipping on over to the perfectly sculpted Wharnecliff Crags for a session of some jumps/drops we recognized from videos/Instagram posts.
Peaty's X Hunt
Finishing up with many (many) pints and completely nerding out over Downhill/Enduro racing, Tom and Brynn were telling us a bit more about what goes into a sealant. Coming from a chemical engineering background, we learned how complicated it really is to produce a liquid most riders don't think twice about when setting up tubeless. Some things we a little 'secret' but after all, that's why they call it 'unicorn jizz'.

"Peaty has been working closely with scientists over the past two years to develop a tubeless tyre sealant that will not readily dry out or ‘ball up’ within the tyre unlike most tubeless sealants currently available..."

Peaty's Sealant

In the coming months, you can expect more details about what goes into making Tubeless Tyre Sealant, but until then we are still getting over the fact we got to ride with STEVE PEAT!
