This week's rig is, of course, Gosse's race bike he will be jumpin onboard as soon as he returns from the knee injury he picked up during the early crash in the UCI Cyclocross World Cup round at Namur earlier this month.

The frameset, supplied by Bombtrack Bicycle Co, is their all-carbon Hook 3 - a CX race machine. Despite its more understated looks, it packs a heft punch thanks to its race-ready build that Gosse will be taking to the limits from January 1st. The drivetrain is the smooth and reliable SRAM Force 1×11, an absolute staple of the CX circuit, with its clutch derailleur and wide/narrow chainring working together to eliminate dropped chains.

Keeping this rolling along are a pair of HUNT 50Carbon Aero Disc wheels shod with tubeless Challenge Grifo Pro CX tyres. The finishing kit is Ritchey, with a Selle Italia saddle rounding things off and providing a (hopefully) comfy landing for the many hundreds of times Gosse will be hopping on!
