Cecily Decker – LifeTime Grand Prix Season Recap.

The 2025 edition of the LifeTime Grand Prix (LTGP) has officially come to a close, and it was the most exciting series ever. The US’s biggest off-road competition featuring 6 events has quickly risen in popularity the last three years, seeing all of the sport’s top athletes vying for the top position among the series’ leaderboard.

This year, Cecily Decker came into the season aiming to improve on her previous best, 5th place overall position in the 2024 edition of the LTGP. Last year, Cecily’s sophomore year in gravel racing saw her slowly climb the ranks from unknown rider to dominant threat in the scene with several top podium spots and wins against the odds showcasing a former ski racer can compete with the best cyclists in the world.

A big goal of mine going into this season was landing in the top 3 overall of the Lifetime Grand Prix, in addition to podiuming at Unbound and Leadville. When setting goals, I like to keep them realistic but also quite challenging. I knew I was capable of each of these goals but in all honesty, I would have never expected to achieve all of them. – Cecily Decker

Having the confidence to get herself into podium positions was the first step to Cecily’s success while the second step, and arguably harder part, was to have the engine to follow up that confidence. Cecily’s rich history in the ski world where she competitively raced throughout her childhood, eventually skiing for the US National Team with an emphasis on downhill and Super G, helped Cecily develop an aerobic engine that has earned her the nickname “Diesel Decker” a name made popular by The Spirit of Gravel meme account on Instagram.

Targeting the Lifetime Grand Prix Overall is a season-long commitment that requires complete focus, adaptability and leaves little room for mistakes. Part of the reason I was able to perform consistently in each race was because I was meticulous with how I optimized my equipment for every race. Not having a single mechanical issue all season was in a small part, a bit of luck, but I mostly credit my equipment. Trusting HUNT Wheels for every race was a huge part of my success this year. – Cecily Decker

Congratulations Cecily on an impressive 2025 season run!
